lo scudaio b&b is located in Palazzo Marchionneschi, sensitively restored with a modern concept of hospitality and sustainability. History, architecture and design make lo scudaio b&b a welcoming, comfortable and charming place that connects past to present. Inside the palace there is an imposing hall with atmospheric cross vaults, a bar area, a fireplace room and a beautiful terrace where breakfast can be taken with plenty of space to sit, read and socialize. A sunny laboratory open to the garden is available for activities, seminars and small events, as well as, for example, for our weekly yoga meetings.

Neighbourhood information

Montescudaio is a small village on the Tyrrhenian coast, with magnificent views of the sea and the islands. It is nestled among the Tuscan hills, vast vineyards, olive groves and Mediterranean scrub woods that lead down to the Cecina River. Throughout the year there are opportunities for many activities nearby, such as visiting the thermal baths, culinary tours, wineries, archaeological sites, towns and villages, all of which have their own special charm. A walk along the sea, 10 km away, has its charm in every season. lo scudaio b&b is 16 km from Bolgheri and 30 km from Volterra.
