Villa Serendipità is a belle epoque villa, protected as a historic monument, in the most exclusive area of Lake Garda. Situated on its own granite foundation, the estate commands panoramic views of Lake Garda, the mountains and Gardone Riviera. Restaurants and local shops are within a 5-minute walking distance. The 150-sqm-villa, 40-sqm detached cottage, and 1,500-sqm garden provide peaceful, luxurious accommodations for up to seven guests. The fully equipped study is perfect for a workation.
The first floor of the villa consists of a living and dining room with views of the lake, the modern kitchen newly renovated in 2019, and a guest bathroom. The second floor has three well-appointed bedrooms, also with spectacular lake views. Two bedrooms have double beds (1.6 x 2m) and one has a single bed. All bedrooms are air conditioned. Early risers can enjoy the sunrise from the bed. Two full bathrooms are on the second floor, the small bathroom with shower being newly renovated in 2018.
The separate, air-conditioned cottage in the garden offers on the first floor a double bedroom suite with a separate living room and full bathroom. The also air-conditioned ground floor offers a large and fully equipped study with kitchen pantry, bathroom, desk, internet, printer and monitor as well as fitness equipment (stepper).
The garden presents a 180° view of the lake and Gardone Riviera. Cypress, palm, olive, cedar, and other trees provide shade. The terrace with an exquisite Italian marble table can seat 8 people and offers morning sun and afternoon shade. The garden wicker sets and lounge chairs provide comfortable seating to enjoy the panoramic lake view and delightful scent of flowers. The highlight of the garden is the lake-side end of the garden, where you can enjoy the sunset and cocktails with friends and family.
We are a family of four living in Germany and have recently acquired, newly renovated and furnished the villa. The careful treatment of the listed villa is our top priority, and so our renovations have preserved the villa's historic character. We consider it a special family home and welcome guests who appreciate its unique charm.
Gardone Riviera was the playground of the rich and powerful during the late 19th and early 20th century. It was also the home of the poet and dramatist Gabriele d' Annunzio, whose estate Il Vittoriale attracts visitors from all over the world. Gardone is known for its unusually mild micro-climate, beautiful gardens, quaint winding streets and houses, and top restaurants. It is a popular vacation destination all year round. Gardone Riviera has been awarded by the European environmental foundation FEE the blue flag for excellent performance in environmental work for the fourth time running. Gardone Riviera is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. (internet: borghipiubelliditalia)
