Casa nel Cielo is a little light and airy Mineo townhouse. Located in a quiet street just 5 minutes walk from the main plaza, where there are restaurants, pizzerias, cafes and shops. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed. The house has street parking close by on Via Marino. The views from the house are spectacular, especially from the roof terrace at sunset, where there is patio furniture and sunbeds. We have recently added a new Kitchen and air-conditioning. Our house is our family holiday home, so we hope you love it as much as we do!

Firstly welcome to our little Sicilian holiday home. We hope that you will enjoy your stay in Mineo, which is a beautiful hill top town dating from the 12th century in the centre of Sicily . The local people and our neighbours are lovely and very friendly. The town is very vibrant and has a great community spirit. There is very little crime and it is very safe. There is always something happening in the Plaza in the town and you will be very welcome to join in. The ancient churches and little cafes are also very welcoming. There are 5 cafes and 3 restaurants in the main square, plus 2 on the outskirts of Mineo. Please see the map in the guest book, which gives the locations. There are about 3 butchers, all of them are good. But the butchers next to the Bank sells great beef steak Florentina. They all make great Italian sausage, which is well worth trying. There are about 4 Fruit and Veg shops and about 3 bakers. Mineo has 3 supermarkets. Two outside the town and a small Spar in the town. If you turn left outside the front door and walk straight up the street you will find the town square 3 minute walk!
