Villa Maghetti is a gently renovated historic palazzo in the centre of Luino, lake, boat station, cafés, restaurants, gelaterias, shopping; everything is within walking distance. The flat has high, partly painted ceilings and a spacious covered veranda. Up to 6 people can sleep in the four-poster bed in the large bedroom, a bunk bed in the small bedroom and on the solid sofa bed in the living room. An additional travel cot is available for infants up to 2 years of age. The kitchen (gas cooker and refrigerator) is well equipped with pans, dishes, etc., as is the bathroom and guest toilet. There is also a private outdoor parking space and a lift available.

We had initially furnished the flat for visiting friends. But since it was empty too often, and in order to earn a part to the small renovations that are always necessary in a historic building, we decided to rent it out via booking. Thanks to the many nice guests we have already hosted, I have learned how much fun it is to be a host, to meet new interesting people, to see Luino through their eyes and to always discover something new!

Villa Maghetti is located between the city park, Parco Ferrini and the church of San Pietro in the middle of the historic old town of Luino. Thanks to the private courtyard, you can still enjoy peace and privacy. Restarant, bars, bakeries, gelaterias, the town museum (Villa Verbana), the Lungo Lago (lakeside promenade) and the boat station are all nearby. Three supermarkets and many other shops are all within walking distance. The regular boat takes you to the Borromean Islands, to the famous rock church of Santa Catherina or to Cannobio, Locarno or the botanical garden of Villa Taranto. Other sights are better reached by car. Children love the playground and the cable car in the neighbouring Parco Ferrini. There are more playgrounds and a water feature on the lake promenade. Villa Maghetti is 10 minutes from the railway station. If you arrive by post bus from Ponte Tresa, get off at Piazza Libertà station, which is a 3-minute walk away. There is a private parking space for your car.
