Contrada San Marco is an active seaside resort in Sciacca, characterized by wide sandy beaches and wonderful sunsets over the sea. From mid-June to mid-September, several bathing establishments are available on the beach, some of which offer excellent dining options. We will be happy to recommend our favorites after booking! Sciacca occupies an ideal location, halfway between the provinces of Agrigento, Trapani and Palermo, making it a strategic point for exploring Sicily's most famous archaeological sites, such as Agrigento, Selinunte, Segesta and Eraclea Minoa. In addition, many of the island's less touristy gems are easily accessible in less than an hour's drive. Of course, there will be no shortage of opportunities to enjoy the excellent local cuisine and renowned Sicilian wines. Just 12 kilometers away (15 minutes by car), you will find the historic center of Sciacca, with its coral and ceramic stores, typical Sicilian pastry shops, and a wide selection of supermarkets, to satisfy your every shopping need and to discover the local culture.
