Over the Castle Apartment’ is located at the back of the Castello del Buonconsiglio. Its location outside of the walls of the historic centre gives it proximity to the city but at the same time, you will enjoy peace and quiet. It is on the raised floor of a three-storey building (our family lives on the two upper floors), it is completely independent and at the back there is a parking space for you. The apartment has just been renovated to make your stay a pleasant one. It is large studio divided by modern furnishing elements which gives it a sense of openness yet intimacy. It hosts a spacious bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a double sofa bed and a kitchen. Going up a few steps, the living room leads to a relaxation area with a whirlpool and a bathroom. There is also a small terrace/garden area. It is easily accessible and can be reached by car or public transport. It is wonderful to walk to the historic centre (downhill) and also to return home to a tranquil neighbourhood. For our family, going home uphill on foot is part of everyday life and is pleasant, but if you prefer comfort and find uphill walking strenuous, then you are just one bus stop from the Castle

Our names are Marica and Marco and we have 2 children; Eva Maria and Samuele. We decided to renovate the apartment to dedicate it to welcoming travellers who love to visit Trento and the beautiful region in which we are fortunate to live. Our family loves to travel and when we visit new places, each time we rediscover the beauty and value of hospitality that is given to us by those who grew up there and live there every day. When and if you wish, we will try to help you in recommending places to visit, events, experiences and local traditions.

The apartment is located in Via dei Cappuccini, a non-transit area in a quiet uphill cul-de-sac. For this reason the house, in addition to giving a pleasant view of the surrounding mountains and a glimpse of the city below, guarantees a quiet environment free from traffic and noise. It is a historic area of Trento where the pink stone of Trento was once extracted, a stone that you can see in the surroundings as an element of construction. For example, this can be seen on the stairway shown in one of the photos of the apartment but, this is the same stairway you will take to the bus, or you can continue on foot to the back of the castle (5 minutes walking downhill, 10 coming back uphill). From here you are another 9 minutes in Piazza del Duomo.
