Hospitality is at the heart of what we do at Previtera since 1880 when the family started three boarding schools scattered around Sicily as well as setting up institutes for the education of women and children. We believe in protecting our nature and sharing with our guests. We work according to the principle of food sustainability and local produces. We run a small farm close to the beach, Contrada Musco, where we produce our very own ingredients for the Previtera breakfast. We also enjoy art and crafts. We run a leading international art center at the Palazzo, where international acclaimed artists produce site-specific temporary exhibitions.

Palazzo Previtera is a seventeen century old house and gardens. Hotel and Restaurant. It offers six suites and one rural cottages. Unique format of residences and rental services that tell the history of a unique family at the slopes of Mount Etna. Palazzo Previtera is a leading center for contemporary art in Sicily and the only Etna living Museum. It invites international acclaimed artists at the Palazzo, so you will probably meet some of them during your stay.

Palazzo Previtera is set in the oldest neighbourhood of Linguaglossa, where the traces of the old lava flows are still visible around us. According to the legend, St Gilles saved Linguaglossa from the lava flows. The church of St Gilles is within few minutes walk from the Palazzo. The neighbourhood offers beautiful sights over the green lush hills of Linguaglossa. It is also very quiet, cafe, restaurants and bars are within 5 minutes walking distance.
