The apartment, equipped with all modern comforts—including a sofa, fitted kitchen, balcony, and washing machine—is located on the first floor of a recently renovated building. All the finishes are brand new, and the décor has been carefully curated by my partner, who, as a skilled craftswoman, hand-made many of the decorative pieces that beautify the space.
My partner and I wanted to create a warm and personal space, designed to offer a carefully curated and pleasant stay down to the smallest detail.
We are passionate about art and music. I am a licensed tour guide, and Barbara is a florist who also dedicates herself to crafts—many of the decorative elements that beautify the apartment are her own handmade creations.
We aim to keep the space dynamic, regularly updating and changing it. We believe that attention to detail and aesthetic care are not unnecessary extras, but rather the true added value that makes for a warm welcome and a memorable stay.
For anything you may need—advice, recommendations, or assistance—we are always available to help make your experience the best it can be.
Castel Sant'Elia is a village in the heart of the Roman Tuscia, the southern part of the Tuscia region that stretches from Viterbo towards Rome. The village sits dramatically atop the vast Suppentonia Valley and features a charming medieval old town along with a stunning Romanesque Basilica from the 11th century, beautifully decorated with frescoes.
Its location is strategic: just 30 minutes from Rome and 40 minutes from Viterbo. Two lakes are nearby—Lake Vico (15 minutes) and Lake Trevignano (20 minutes).
Also within easy reach are the medieval towns of Nepi and Civita Castellana, both rich in artistic and historical treasures.
The surrounding area is marked by striking ravines and valleys offering breathtaking views, ideal for hiking or cycling adventures.
The medieval village of Calcata, perched dramatically above a valley, is only 20 minutes away, while the Montegelato waterfalls can be reached in just 15 minutes.
