This enchanting 15th century property, nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany, offers an exceptional view of the surrounding countryside and San Gimignano. A free outdoor pool is available on site. The Tuscan-style rooms have handcrafted furniture and original features from the 16th century, such as wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Each includes a satellite flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a minibar. Each bathroom includes a spacious shower. A breakfast consisting of homemade cakes and local products is provided daily, served on the terrace during summer. The on site restaurant serves seasonal local dishes and homemade pasta, and should be reserved in advance. Light lunches are also available. Surrounded by lavender bushes and grape vines, the hotel’s location is not only picturesque, it is ideal for day-trips; San Gimignano is 3.5 km from Agriturismo Il Segreto di Pietrafitta, and Florence and Siena are accessible in 45 minutes. Chianti is a 20-minute drive away.

ll Segreto di Pietrafitta is a magical place located close to the main gates of the magnificent medieval town of San Gimignano, famous worldwide because of its towers that are still standing today. The structure where Il Segreto di Pietrafitta is located is originally from 1490, and its was recently restored in order to provide all modern comforts, while at the same time keeping a magical atmosphere given by the original architectural elements, such as the wood beamed ceilings and the Tuscan clay floors. Every breakfast you'll be able to enjoy sweet and savory dishes, 100% home made. The huge swimming pool is located right in front of the town's towers, and will leave unforgettable memories, especially during the sunsets, an almost surreal view that our guests get to appreciate. The views of San Gimignano was many times described by our guests as "So beautiful that is seems like a painting." Tuscany is wonderful, and here at Il Segreto di Pietrafitta you'll be able to appreciate its essence.
