Podere La Quercia is a dream that came true for our family. After looking for a place for many years, we fell in love with this abandoned villa with stunning views on the hills in 2022 and opened in 2023 after a careful renovation. We like to think that welcoming guests in our agriturismo is like welcoming guests in our home, so the atmosphere is very familiar and relaxed.

Podere La Quercia stands just one step away from the charming San Gimignano and Certaldo, with uniterrupted 360° views on the Chianti hills. It is a small, family owned “agriturismo”, where you can live an authentic experience of Tuscan hospitality and taste all the farm organic products.

Podere La Quercia is located in the countryside around San Gimignano, one of the most suggestive and iconic Tuscan hamlets. This town, famous for the typical medieval architecture and its unique towers, was declared UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A few minutes from Podere La Quercia stands the charming medieval town of Certaldo, famous for being the hometown of Giovanni Boccaccio, author of Italian medieval masterpiece Decameron and one of the fathers of Italian language and literature.
Podere La Quercia is 35 km far from Volterra, an ancient Etruscan site and one of the best preserved medieval Italian towns. Volterra is a major centre for the production and manufactoring of alabaster, one of the most important products of Italian craftsmanship.
