住宿信息
Podere Sole is a historic farmhouse and Tuscan estate with a rich cultural and agricultural history that dates back to the 1600s. As the "estate of the sun", the farmhouse is perched on a hill and faces south, towards the medieval town of Trequanda. All around, it gazes onto gentle Tuscan hills, lined with rows of cypresses, with views of castles, farms, and medieval villages in the distance. Some of the roads in its surrounding are among the most beautiful in Italy.
Today, it is an organic farm with a vineyard, olive grove, orchard, a Truffle area, and more than sixty hectares of forest. It lies in the soft hills between the famous Tuscan regions of the Crete Senesi and the Val d'Orcia. Entirely family-owned and family-run, it is a working farm and agriturismo, offering three guest rooms as well as vegan farm-to-table breakfasts.
Podere Sole is immersed in nature and lies in the middle of its 110 hectare estate: six hectares of vineyards, one hectare olive grove & orchard, thirty hectares of farmland, and over sixty hectares of native holm oak forest. The main house is surrounded by sun terraces and gardens with fragrant Tuscan herbs such as lavender, rosemary, and sage. A short walk away from the main house lies our vegetable garden. We are committed to organic & sustainable practices in everything we do, and nurture biodiversity on our land wherever we can.
