For more than 13 years my parents and I have been welcoming guests to Poggio de' Galli from all over the world, striving to make sure your stay is unforgettable.

Property information

Poggio de' Galli is located on the wonderful hills of Impruneta, providing full privacy in a very rural setting but also a stone's throw away from the town of Florence, accessible in just a few minutes by car. Our swimming pool is to the exclusive use of our clientele and it is opened seasonally from the first Saturday of May until the last Saturday of September. Large private garden with barbeque and ping pong table. From our large panoramic terrace you can enjoy breath taking views all year round. Easy acess to the motorway to reach Siena / Pisa / Arezzo. M y father produces an award winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the trees sourranding the villa. We are also art lovers and my mother has personally decorated parts of the home with her watercolour artworks!

Neighbourhood information

We are located on a hill between Pozzolatico and Monteoriolo, a 10 minute drive to the town of Impruneta. With it's beautiful ancient Basilica of Santa Maria of Impruneta and reknown worldwide for it's terracotta, Impruneta offers bars, restaurants and a good size supermarket. From Poggio de' Galli you have easy access also to Galluzzo, with several shops and a very large Esselunga supermaket with covered parking lot, long opening hours and Sunday openings. From Galluzzo you have very easy bus connections to get to Florence's downtown. Lots of opportunities for wine and olive oil tastings in the Chianti area.
