Pontremoli is a delightful area, easy to relax and enjoy the peace of the hills and calm of the Piazza, sip wine, cappuccino and delicious croissants, sample amour, a local sweet delight, a fabulous way to pass the time, enjoying the local cuisine. Pontremoli enjoys fabulous temperatures during the summer months, with many local traditions for you to experience. A great place to unwind and soak up the rays whilst recharging your batteries. The local streams and rivers have lovely areas for a dip to refresh and soak in some sunshine. Let's share our tip of keeping the windows and shutters closed during the day whilst you are out exploring, this will enable you to return to the freshness of a cool space to enjoy your time before relaxing over dinner or heading out to dine in one of the many fabulous places to eat in Pontremoli.

So convenient to jump on the train and head towards Cinque terra, a lovely and World famous area which is transport free, the train line passes along the coast stopping at the stations of the 5 villages, or you can jump on a boat tour if that suits you more, dip in the sea from one of the coves, it couldn't be more perfect. It can get very busy in the height of the season, so a good idea to make the most of heading off in good time, I would advise starting at the farm village and coming back towards La Spezia, that way you shouldn't have a problem with queues first thing and will be in ideal locations for coffee stops, lunch etc, great little spots to grab local focaccia or the delicious gelato on offer.
