We offer a private room on the third floor with a terrace and private bathroom, perfect for enjoying the breathtaking view of the vineyards and the tranquility of the landscape. Just a 15-minute walk from the historic center, you can explore the city at your own pace, immersing yourself in the local atmosphere. Villa Alba is lovingly managed by Pier and Chiara, passionate sommeliers who also run the Oneonthehill wine club. Here, you will find a warm and family-like welcome: we are not a luxury hotel, but we enjoy taking care of our guests as if they were old friends, doing our best to make you feel at home. Sustainability is important to us, and we are delighted when our guests share this value. That's why we want you to know that heating is available from mid-October to April 15th, to ensure a comfortable stay during the cooler months. If you need additional warmth, there is an air split that can be used for a little additional cost. During the warmer months, air conditioning is available for a small fee as well, to encourage conscious energy use and respect the environment around us. Originally from Torino, we recently returned to Alba from San Francisco to embark on a new adventure in the world of wine. For us, this journey is all about blending our love for the land with a passion for authentic experiences and respect for our planet. We cherish those little things that add meaning to life: songs that tell a story, the thrill of catching a wave or a perfect surfskate run, and getting lost in the pages of a complex book. We’re drawn to films with a sarcastic edge, and of course, we have a deep appreciation for excellent wine and kombucha. There’s nothing like savoring truly great food, especially when it’s shared with good company. The ocean holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re always seeking to foster a sense of community, wherever we go. But there are a few things that don’t quite fit with our way of living. We find it difficult to connect with people who lack respect for others or who don’t see the value in taking care of our surroundings and avoiding unnecessary waste. And while we love welcoming guests into our home, we’ve realized that we might not be the right fit for those who are used to the impersonal experience of a typical hotel. What we offer is something different: a personal, genuine atmosphere, where the small details and thoughtful touches make all the difference. We hope our guests appreciate this approach, as it’s what makes our place truly special.

The neighborhood is very peaceful and is considered one of the best spots in Alba. Being on a hill, the road to reach it can be a bit steep, making it ideal for those who enjoy a good walk. However, if walking isn't your preference, renting a car would be a convenient option.
