My name is Roberto and I manage the accomodation. You'll se me very frequently during your stay because i am in the accomodation every day to check everything is perfect to make your Holiday unforgettable. My familiy consists of my wife and two sons: the daughter is 24 years old and the son is 17 years old. I love sports, scuba diving, reading and my passsions are History, especially ancient history, and Architecture. I like to travel and when possible I prefer the car rather the airplan . It's the modern man's horse. My hometown is Florence but i live in Spoleto for over 20 years and I really love this lands, their inhabitants and its food.

The most particular failure of Spoleto by the Pool is surely the location. The accomodation is situated on a sunny hill, in a very quite and reserved position, at about 400 mt of altitude. From there is possible to see all the below valley with its marvellous cities and hamlets clinging to the sides of the highest hills that form the natural frame of the valley up to gaze and admire Assisi far over 55 km. The view is wonderful during the day and amazing in the night.

Spoleto, its environment and all Umbria is a very interesting part of Italy. Spoleto is located in the centre of Italy, so it's very easy to reach all the most famous italian cities in a very few time. You can reach Rome in one hour and 15 minutes ( by train is very well connected too ), Florence in 1 hour and 50 minutes, etc.. But the same Umbria and Spoleto too are univers to discovery: Spoleto is a very old town with a foundation date prior to Rome, so it's rich of monuments and places of interest of the Roman age, and very easy to reach with the new escalator. Umbria is full of towns and hamlets different from each other and situated in the countryside immersed in silence and in the pure air. In the history Umbria was a land of warriors and saints, today is a land of kind people love good food and good wine. You can taste the famous oil of Trevi or the international wine Sagrantino of Montefalco. Everywhere you'll go to eat you'll find gentle people, good prices and, most important, an excellent cuisine.
