I’m an architect and I personally renovated and furnished “Vecchia Verona” aiming at creating an historical as well as welcoming, comfortable and functional atmosphere in the rooms of Via Trota, and providing all necessary services and comfort for a stay in Verona in the apartment in Corso Sant’Anastasia.

We are Paolo and Martina and we will welcome you in the beauty of this area and of all the center of Verona, a city of which we adore the spirit and all its hidden corners that take me back in time and remind me of the Old City and its historic shops . The area is lively and elegant, full of fine shops, and perfect for classy shopping. Places to taste the Veronese cuisine and to immerse yourself in the life of the evening aperitifs that will brighten your stay.

A few steps from Piazza Dante, Piazza Erbe, Ponte Pietra, Arche Scaligere, Santa Anastasia Church, Teatro Romano, Arena, Juliet’s House, Via Mazzini, Cortile Mercato Vecchio, Scala della Ragione, Conservatorio, Museo dell'Opera, Via Sottoriva. From “Vecchia Verona” – Via Trota – you can see Via Sottoriva, one of the oldest and most historical street of the city, once characterised by antique shops and by local restaurants “trattorie” and “osterie” where you can taste the traditional local cuisine and wine, globally famous and renowed. With a short walk you can reach and cross “Ponte Pietra” the first bridge built by Romans and admire the Roman Theatre. Many important theatre and music performances and international dance shows and take place there nowadays. Vecchia Verona – Corso Sant’Anastasia is situated in a small medieval courtyard a few steps from Piazza Erbe and Piazza Dante with the famous building Palazzo della Ragione that now hosts the Achille Forti Gallery of Modern Art. You can find many restaurants and local restaurants, bars, stores and supermarket in the nearby.
