The Villages of Rivalto and Chianni Rivalto and nearby Chianni are charming medieval Tuscan villages, known for their peaceful atmosphere, scenic views, and authentic character. Both offer a quiet escape, with a handful of local restaurants, bars, and shops to explore. Rivalto is a small hilltop village (borgo) featuring a historic church and a quaint café/bar, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an afternoon aperitivo. Chianni offers a broader range of amenities, including two cafés, two mini-markets, a gift shop, a flower shop, a dress boutique, and a small hardware store. A cash point (ATM) is conveniently located next to the tourist information office. Every Saturday morning, a small market is held next to the post office—mainly selling fresh fruit and vegetables. During the summer months, additional stalls may appear on an ad-hoc basis. In the evenings, a lively summer night market takes place in the centre of Chianni, offering a variety of street food and locally handcrafted products.
