A hidden gem nestled in the rolling Tuscan countryside at 480 metres above sea level, Le Polle di Meletro—also known as Il Borgo della Pace—offers a breathtaking panoramic terrace, surrounding woodlands, and an enviable location near the small medieval village of Rivalto.
With stunning views stretching across the Valdera valley, the villa’s prominent position exudes timelessness, peace, and tranquillity. It is an oasis of calm and harmony—perfect for indulging in rest and relaxation—yet it lies just a 40-minute drive from Pisa Airport.
The villa is surrounded by fertile land that yields high-quality vegetables, fruits, and wine. Nearby fields are home to vineyards, olive groves, fruit trees, and cereals, while the wooded hills host the famous Rivalto Chestnut along with a rich variety of flora and fauna. In July and August, vibrant fields of sunflowers light up the landscape in brilliant yellow.
The view from the terrace and the surrounding woodland transforms with the seasons: lush and green in spring, golden in summer, and a blaze of red in autumn as the vineyards change colour.

The Villages of Rivalto and Chianni
Rivalto and nearby Chianni are charming medieval Tuscan villages, known for their peaceful atmosphere, scenic views, and authentic character. Both offer a quiet escape, with a handful of local restaurants, bars, and shops to explore.
Rivalto is a small hilltop village (borgo) featuring a historic church and a quaint café/bar, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an afternoon aperitivo.
Chianni offers a broader range of amenities, including two cafés, two mini-markets, a gift shop, a flower shop, a dress boutique, and a small hardware store. A cash point (ATM) is conveniently located next to the tourist information office.
Every Saturday morning, a small market is held next to the post office—mainly selling fresh fruit and vegetables. During the summer months, additional stalls may appear on an ad-hoc basis. In the evenings, a lively summer night market takes place in the centre of Chianni, offering a variety of street food and locally handcrafted products.
Guests are encouraged to explore the area on foot or by bicycle. The surrounding landscape is rich in natural beauty and offers many scenic routes.
