Opening the gates to Villa Serena Alghero and looking up the drive and on to the lush gardens and house makes you think of paradise. A lush yucca oasis greets you and provides of lovely green contrast to the azure blue pool. The 13 x 6 m freshwater pool is especially designed with a shallow end that little ones and mums and dads with babes in arms can enjoy without treading water. The villa has 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8) and an en-suite annexe (sleeps 2). It also has 2 living rooms and 3 bathrooms. A large covered terrace provides shade during the day and is a perfect place to entertain in the evening. The summer kitchen and large barbecue mean that the house stays tidy during mealtimes and you can experience full 'al fresco' living. Should you fancy being pampered, we have a 'personal chef' extra costed option available as well. The chef will do all the shopping, food preparation, cooking and clearing up for you, providing luxury breakfast, afternoon cocktails and 'agriturismo' style dinner(not a la carte). We have been hosting at the villa for the past four years (and at our other apartment for nine years) and pride ourselves on 5-star customer service, quick resolutions to any little problems that crop up and personal and friendly communications. We ensure that the villa is clean and provide you with all the essentials (and more) for your perfect self-catering holiday. The pool is cleaned before your arrival and then once midweek for every week you book. We do NOT provide a daily pool cleaning service. A net is available for you to clean any debris from the pool yourself. We speak English and Italian.

The villa is situated on the outskirts of Alghero just far enough in the countryside to feel private and secluded, but yet near to the beach, airport supermarkets and the town. The beautiful Maria Pia beach is about 2 kms away. Take an evening walk on the impressive ramparts of the old town, or explore the lovely old medieval streets and piazzas and shops. Visit the fantastic Capo Caccia about 20 kms away either by boat or car. If you're feeling energetic, take the 650 steps down (and up again!) to the grotto at the bottom and wonder at Mother Nature's underground show.
