Vista Borgo Antico guest house is a medieval age building, literally named “tower-house”, very popular in Apulia. It has been completely restored and its main feature is the internal elevator, a rarity in this ancient construction. With its 4 floors, it is the tallest building in the old town of Bari and this gives its terrace a privileged view. Simplicity and elegance are the keywords for this brand new residence, both for the sharing areas and the 3 rooms, each of them with private bathrooms. The entrance leads directly to the shared living area, equipped with comfy armchairs, coffee tables and a fitted kitchen. On the left, the ancient stone staircase takes you to the rooms on upper floors, easy to reach also by elevator. Rooms are composed by a king size bed with memory foam mattress and hypoallergenic pillows, smart TV, safety deposit box, a small balcony with sound proof windows and a private bathroom with shower. The guest house features a central air-conditioning system that can be controlled from each room. Guests will have at their own disposal bed linen, towels, soap and a hairdryer. On the 4th floor there is a beautiful terrace equipped with sofas and coffee table.

Vista Borgo Antico is located in the very heart of the historic center of Bari, few steps away from the cathedral of San Sabino, the second most important church after the Basilica of St. Nicholas, the city’s patron saint. The historic center, also known as “Bari vecchia”, which means Old Bari, is the oldest and most colourful district of Bari. In only 5 minutes walking from the guest house, you reach “Arco Basso”, the alleway, also called “la strada delle orecchiette” meaning the street of orecchiette, a fresh pasta whose name comes from their shape which resembles a small ear. Here women roll out the fresh pasta sitting outside or just inside their doorways. Another massive building in the Romanesque style is the Norman-Swabian Castle, “Castello Svevo”, nowadays open to visitors as city museum. The maze of alleys with small churches is a joy to explore!
