住宿資訊
‘Aonoha’ Machiya House and ‘Yukinoha’ Machiya House are two private holiday rentals located just a minute's walk from Takayama Station.
Each machiya house offers a spacious 103㎡ (1111 ft²) of space and features a ‘koutei,’ or light court, where natural light warmly welcomes you. Here, you’ll encounter an impressive 9-meter tall original artwork by renowned local plaster craftsman Shuhei Hasado. The light court is designed with ceiling windows that illuminate the area with sunlight, accentuating the wooden beams that stretch across the ceiling, reminiscent of the UNESCO World Heritage Site's Shirakawa-go’s iconic farmhouses.
Both machiya houses include a full kitchen, luxurious bathroom, large projector screen, 2 bedrooms, original artwork, and rooms equipped with floor heating and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout the year.
'Aonoha' Machiya House includes a wood sauna and bathtub made from locally sourced hinoki cypress wood. 'Yukinoha' has a deep soaking tub reminiscent of the Hida Limestone Caves. The bathroom echoes the captivating features of the Hida Limestone Caves with its concave shape, deep soaking tub. Enjoy a serene atmosphere during your stay with us in Takayama, Japan.
