🚗 Access & Nearby Attractions BEPPU ZEN is conveniently located, about 20 minutes by taxi from Beppu’s main stations and 40 minutes by car from Oita Airport, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Surrounded by hot springs and nature, you can relax both body and mind while enjoying Beppu at a leisurely pace. Nearby attractions include Harmonyland and African Safari (both about 30 minutes by car), the famous Beppu Hells, Kannawa Onsen, steam baths, and steam-cooked local cuisine (all within walking distance). You can also enjoy scenic views at Yukemuri Observatory, visit Umitamago Aquarium, or take the Mt. Tsurumi Ropeway for panoramic views of Beppu Bay and the surrounding mountains.
