The lounge opens onto an outdoor terrace and lawn with stunning views. Blooming Villa sits on land that was purchased a few years ago by our late stepfather, a wonderful man with a passion for life. Although he lived in neighboring Asahikawa, he had a deep love for Higashikawa and frequently visited the area. His dream was to create a place where people could stay and use as a base to explore this beautiful region, sharing the joy he found here. Tragically, he passed away from cancer before he could see his vision come to life. For years, the land remained untouched. Then, in 2024, his family came together to fulfill his dream, building what is now Blooming Villa — a name he chose. We hope we’ve honored his vision and that many guests will come to enjoy both the villa and the Higashikawa region, just as he intended. By choosing to stay at Blooming Villa, you’re helping us carry on his legacy and making his dream a reality. For that, we will be forever grateful.

Higashikawa is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering world-class hiking, skiing, and hot springs. An ideal base for exploring the region's local attractions and breathtaking scenery, Higashikawa is approximately 7km from Asahikawa Airport and 14km from Asahikawa station. There are many recommended attractions within a few minutes' drive, including restaurants, galleries, libraries, a hot springs/sauna complex, Canmore Ski Resort, Kitoushi Forest Park, and the locally famous Yoshinori Coffee Cafe. Higashikawa’s convenient location also means a short drive to the Asahidake ropeway, the picturesque town of Furano, famous for its rolling flower fields and vibrant lavender blooms in summer, and Biei, with its magnificent Blue Pond and stunning rural landscapes.
