Hello!
We are a Japanese–Indian couple living in Togakushi,
and we run Breath in Earth together.
I am Hanako from Japan,
and my husband Sujith is from Kerala, India.
We also live with our dog Milo,
who came with us from India.
He is gentle, friendly, and very calm.
We love welcoming guests from all over the world.
Please feel relaxed and enjoy your stay with us!
Breath in Earth is located in the peaceful and scenic Togakushi area,
surrounded by beautiful forests and nature.
From spring to autumn you can enjoy fresh forest air and mountain views,
and in winter the area becomes a serene snowy landscape.
Nearby are the famous Togakushi Shrines (such as Okusha and Chusha),
making this a wonderful place for nature walks, forest trails,
and visiting spiritual spots.
Togakushi is also known for its delicious soba restaurants.
One of the local soba restaurants is about a 15-minute walk from the cottage,
and several others are easily accessible by car.
Please note that most restaurants in the area close early in the evening,
so we recommend preparing food in advance
or shopping before you arrive, especially if you plan to have dinner.
The surroundings are very quiet and calm,
perfect for guests who wish to relax in nature
or enjoy hiking, sightseeing, and shrine visits.
