IMPORTANT NOTICE: if you are traveling to us by car and need a car parking space over the winter period, please let us know in advance, as it not always a given that there will be a space available. Also please be aware that when renting a car from outside of Hakuba that 4WD and snow tyres are ESSENTIAL and some experience of driving in harsh winter conditions is also needed. We have had customers driving here and had to use the buses as they had an incorrect vehicle for use in Hakuba. If in doubt, please try to arrange rental from a Hakuba based car rental outlet. From the 2056/26 season onwards, a local accommodation tax is going to be collected at the property on arrival, exact details will be posted as soon as available. Chateau Lausanne offers cosy and comfortable rooms, hosted by British/Japanese owner Rob and Yoshi. We are located in Misorano just few minutes' walk from Echoland. We also now have an outdoor covered barbeque area during green season. We also have a cat but only has access to the common areas and does not go into the guest rooms.
