【Features】 Guesthouse Kaede is a private lodging facility that can only be rented by one group per day. You can relax without worrying about other guests. There are two semi-double beds in each of the Western-style and Japanese-style rooms. Four sets of additional futons are available. We also provide home appliances such as induction stoves, microwaves, toasters, and cooking utensils such as pots and knives. Mineral water and tea are available as free drinks in the refrigerator. We also have a Nespresso machine so you can enjoy authentic coffee. We also have a washing machine and dryer so please use them to wash your clothes during your trip. There is no parking lot, but there is a paid parking lot nearby. [Notes] If you stay for multiple nights, cleaning will not be performed during the consecutive nights. Only new towels will be delivered every day. Please note that you will not be able to check in before the check-in time as the system will not accept it. Please note that we cannot store luggage etc. as this facility is a non-face-to-face check-in.

The old townscape of Hida Takayama is located in the center of Takayama City, which developed as a castle town and merchant town during the Edo period. It has been designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings by the national government, and is a popular tourist spot with its remaining old townscape. The old townscape is roughly divided into "Kamimachi" and "Shimomachi", with "Kamisannomachi" in particular bustling as the center of the old townscape. Guesthouse Kaede is located in Shimoichinomachi, and is a nostalgic and relaxing inn with easy access to the old townscape.
