We have newly opened a ryokan called "Ishi no Ya", which was once a high-end inn known as "Ishitei". The detached rooms with a vast 2000-tsubo garden are a feature, and as the name suggests, rocks and stones of various shapes form a beautiful Japanese garden in the yard. Additionally, you can enjoy flowers of various seasons in the garden. The babbling brook that winds its way through the garden between rocks is very soothing and can be enjoyed not only by sight, but also by the sound.
The hot spring is the Izu Nagaoka Onsen, which has a history of 1300 years. It is a historic hot spring that is believed to have been used by Minamoto no Yoritomo. Not only are there open-air baths, but we also offer private open-air baths in the rooms on the first floor.
Starting this year, all rooms are equipped with wifi, so you can use the internet in your room. We have opened a book-cafe space in front of the front desk, where you can read your favorite book with unlimited coffee and soft drinks.
This is a must-see for those who want to relax and unwind.
