Situato proprio sulle rive del lago Toya, il Kohan Tei offre vasche termali all'aperto con vista sul lago, pasti a buffet e karaoke. Le camere in stile giapponese sono dotate di aria condizionata e TV LCD satellitare. Tutte le camere del Kohan Tei Hotel sono dotate di un tavolino basso con cuscini da pavimento, un frigorifero e un bollitore elettrico. Il bagno interno è dotato di vasca e doccia. Gli ospiti dormono nei tradizionali futon su un pavimento in tatami (paglia intrecciata). Una navetta a pagamento effettua una corsa al giorno da e per la stazione ferroviaria JR di Sapporo. L'hotel dista 10 minuti di auto dalla funivia Usuzan Ropeway e 15 minuti di auto dal monte Showa Shinzan, mentre la stazione ferroviaria JR Toya è raggiungibile in 25 minuti di autobus. Il parcheggio in loco è gratuito. Presso la reception aperta 24 ore su 24 potrete prenotare un massaggio, visitare il negozio di souvenir o coccolare i vostri piedi nel pediluvio termale. Presso i negozi in loco è possibile fare acquisti duty-free, mentre nella hall sono disponibili PC con connessione internet a pagamento. Presso il ristorante Asuka vengono serviti piatti giapponesi/occidentali a colazione e a cena, con buffet a base di pesce fresco. In loco troverete anche un bar e una caffetteria.
