Hello, I'm Ryo!
I'm originally from Hyogo Prefecture and have been living in Fukuoka for 10 years. Two years ago, I started living in a traditional Japanese farmhouse deep in the mountains of Itoshima. I initially moved here on the orders of my boss, but before I knew it, I fell in love with this place.lol
This house is over 150 years old and has so much character. It’s a whole house, and I was honestly overwhelmed living here alone, so I thought, "Why not share it and let others enjoy it too?" That’s when I started this guesthouse. Surrounded by nature, the air is fresh, and it’s the perfect peaceful environment to just unwind.
I usually spend my time doing DIY projects, gardening, and clearing the mountains, and I upload videos of these activities on YouTube. I live with my cat, and I enjoy a relaxed daily life. Sometimes I spend time with guests, but there are also times when I retreat to the second floor to have some quiet time. I strive to maintain a comfortable distance so that everyone can enjoy their stay in a pleasant way!
I only speak Japanese, but I’m currently learning English and Korean, so I hope to connect with guests from overseas a little more each time. If you’d like to enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese house or refresh yourself in nature, feel free to come and visit!
