“屋主很積極的跟我確認到由布院時間，我訂好JR車票後跟屋主聯絡後，屋主夫妻說可以到車站幫忙載行李，這讓我們出站後可以很方便的逛街到民宿，抵達由布院時屋主在車站舉牌歡迎讓我驚喜萬分，房間跟照片完全一樣，照片沒有體現出來的是整間的現代感，進廁所開門會同時開燈同步掀馬桶蓋，其餘房間開燈也是用搖控器現代感滿滿，整間原木房屋很棒，最後我個人最喜歡的是協助載行李也幫忙送行李到車站，另外屋主老婆中文溝通方便。”

　　金鱗湖すぐ近くの古民家を改造して、気密高断熱住宅に仕上げ、冬暖かく夏涼しです。天然木と珪藻土を使用し、有害物質フリーです。CO2モニターを設置し、自動換気をする。安心して寝心地の良い環境にこだわりました。 　　寝具は高、低反発マートや羽毛布団を使う、電気敷毛布も用意しました。各室冷暖房エアコンあり。 　　玄関、リビング、キッチンとトイレバス 専用でご利用いだだけます。 　　プロ(主人)が淹れたwelcomeコーヒーゴ賞味ください。珈琲塾も併設、焙煎と手淹れ方を教えています。珈琲塾に興味ある方は別途問合せください。松屋式(改)手淹れコーヒー体験あり(有料予約制)。 　　混浴温泉(下ん湯)まで歩いて2分。近く家族風呂や男女別の温泉もあります。
妻Taoは上海出身、夫Takaは北海道出身。3年前まで上海で「丹珈琲」と言うカフェレストラン15年を経営していました。当時店は上海自家焙煎珈琲店の先駆けとして有名になり「地球の歩き方」にも掲載されました。湯布院の素敵な自然に魅せられて移住して来ました。金鱗湖すぐ近くの古民家を購入し、珈琲教室を開くため珈琲工房を建て、宿泊施設を2年掛かりで造りました。この宿泊施設を基地に湯布院の素敵な自然と文化を満喫してもらいたいと思っています。
金鱗湖まで100M、混浴温泉“下ん湯”がすぐ近く歩いて2分、湯の坪街道まで歩いて3分、由布院駅まで1.4キロ。
