The completely nonsmoking Ryokan Matsukaze is just 10-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from JR Matsumoto Train Station. The ryokan offers simply furnished Japanese rooms with futon beds. No meals are served at the property. Rooms at Matsukaze Ryokan are air-conditioned and include a fridge, a TV and complimentary green tea bags. Floors are made of tatami (woven straw), and bathrooms are shared. Shared bathtubs and showers can be reserved for private-use free of charge. Matsukaze is an 8-minute drive from Matsumoto Castle. A convenience store is located a 3-minute walk away.
