Located in the historic Fujisaka in the mountains on the border with Kyoto Prefecture. This inn is a renovated old thatched-roof house. We only accommodate one group per day, and will provide you with hospitality just for you. For dinner, we will serve approximately 10 seasonal dishes from Tamba, cooked over an open hearth. You can stay for up to 24 hours, so please take your time and enjoy your wonderful stay in Fujisaka.

We are run by a married couple. We traveled from Hokkaido to Okinawa in our camper van for about two years, searching for our final home, and finally arrived here in Fujisaka. Fujisaka is a historic rural area that dates back to the Heian period manor of Fujisaka-sho. Guests can enjoy a variety of agricultural experiences, including harvesting black edamame, a specialty of Tanba Sasayama. A wide variety of creatures live in the satoyama and streams. Guests can enjoy a variety of satoyama experiences throughout the seasons, such as collecting stag beetles and other beetles accompanied by expert commentary, or observing Genji fireflies and Hime fireflies. This lodging is recommended for those who wish to relax in the countryside and experience the good old days of Japan.
