【THE LOOKOUT KUSATSU】 At THE LOOKOUT KUSATSU, you can enjoy the rare hot spring of Kusatsu, flowing directly into your private bath 24 hours a day. Since the bath is located inside your room, you can soak in the hot spring as many times as you like without even stepping outside. The window is a one-way mirror, so you can safely raise the blinds and relax while bathing with a view of the great outdoors. From the living room, you can enjoy a clear view of Mt. Asama, and at night, a sky full of stars. In winter, you can warm up by the pellet stove in the living room — similar to a wood stove — and relax while watching real flames. It’s even warmer than an air conditioner and doesn’t dry out the air, making your stay extra comfortable. A projector is also provided, so you can enjoy movies or YouTube on a big screen. Yubatake, the famous hot spring field, is just a 5-minute drive away, making it convenient for sightseeing. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and cooking utensils, so you can prepare meals with ingredients you bring. There’s also an indoor electric BBQ grill, so you can enjoy a barbecue right inside your room. The grill is designed to produce minimal smoke and odor, so you won’t need to worry about smells clinging to your clothes or the room. High-speed Wi-Fi and a monitor are available, making the space perfect for workations as well. 《Important Notes》 Because there are no buildings or trees obstructing the view, the scenery from the living room is spectacular. However, the drawback is that there are about 25 steps leading up to the entrance. For this reason, guests who are elderly or have difficulty with stairs may find it challenging. There is a handrail for safety, so it is possible to go up and down securely. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing a backpack or other bag you can carry on your back. Using a wheeled suitcase may be quite difficult.
