This two-story guesthouse is located about 2 km from JR Takatsuki Station and is run by a resident host family. The household includes a couple, their adult son, and two friendly small dogs. The home is kept clean and tidy at all times to ensure a comfortable stay. ＜Guest-Only Areas＞ ▷ Guest Room ◁ A private twin room (with two single beds) located on the second floor, equipped with a lockable door. The room is spacious and comes with an adjoining walk-in closet (approx. 4 tatami mats in size), offering ample space to store large suitcases and luggage. ▷ Guest Toilet ◁ A dedicated toilet for guest use is available on the second floor. ▷ Working Space & Guest Lounge ◁ Next to the guest room is a shared working/lounge space (approx. 5 tatami mats) with two large desks—perfect for remote work, studying, or reading. This space is also equipped with a guest-use microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, cups, and more, allowing for light meal preparation. Please note that international homestay guests may also use this area. ＜Shared Spaces＞ ▷ 1st Floor Shared Bathroom ◁ Includes a sink, bathtub, and drum-style washer/dryer (available for stays of 3 nights or more, eco-friendly detergent provided). ▷ 1st Floor Shared Toilet ◁ Another toilet is available near the entrance hallway for guest use. ▷ Living, Dining & Kitchen ◁ The full kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and more. If you'd like to use the kitchen, please contact us in advance. ＜Breakfast＞ Under current Takatsuki City regulations (as of July 2025), hosts without a restaurant license are not permitted to serve meals, even for free. Once the rules are revised, we plan to offer complimentary breakfast. Please contact us for more details. ＜Station Pickup＞ We offer pick-up and drop-off service to/from JR Takatsuki Station upon request during check-in or check-out. You’ll find department stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, cafés, and izakayas. Compared to the busy centers of Kyoto and Osaka, Takatsuki is quieter and more relaxed—perfect for unwinding, shopping, or enjoying a nice meal after a day of sightseeing.
