Hot-spring
There are many hot-springs in the area.
HOTARAKASHI ONSEN is one of the most famous hot-springs in Japan. (about 20 minutes by car)
Locates in the top of mountain and view from that hot-spring is astonishing (You can view Mt. Fuji, too.)
HAYABUSA ONSEN and HANAKAGE ONSEN are in walkable distance (5 minutes by walk). Many local enjoy bathing there. (good quality of ONSEN hot water).
Winery
The area (KOSHU KATSUNUMA) is very famous for grape farms and more than 40 wineries are in the neighborhood.
You can do wine tasting and viewing winery factory.
Fruits picking
We can't miss fruits picking if you come to YAMANASHI area.
Starting from peach in spring, you can enjoy cherry, pear, grape, persimmon through the year.
Very famous for fruits and there are unique and only originated fruits here in YAMANASHI.
There are many farms which provide fruits picking service.
Trekking
Please try to go to treckig course called Daibosatsutoge (大菩薩峠) if
you have time.
I believe that this trekking course gives you the most beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.
