Thika Greens is a gated community with 24 hour security. It is adjacent to Thika Golf Resort and club house complete with a restaurant and bar. Across the street from the main gate there is EdiPark Plaza which has a small supermarket, massage parlour and other amenities. Delview has many restaurants and bars including Sip&Dip which has lovely outdoor seating, an outdoor pool and an underground club. Further down the road at Blue Post Hotel you can visit Chania Falls, and go on a nature walk to see some animals. There are different modes of transport including local Matatus (public bus) which run to the town centre and can be picked from main gate. You can also use private taxi (contact host for taxi numbers), or taxi apps such as Uber and Bolt. Car hire is also a viable option with parking easily accessible in the town at a small fee. Tuktuks are another option for traveling short distances.
