Arugam Bay's famous Main Point surfing break is only a large stone’s throw away. There are also a host of other breaks close by for beginners, intermediate and experienced surfers. Forcus Cabanas is an outstanding base to explore spectacular wildlife and history. Elephants can be observed daily at Kumana & Lahgula National Parks, Kumana Bird Sanctuary (wetland reserve) is a bird lovers delight. There are also many ancient Hindu and Buddhist Temples and cave dwellings within close proximity.
