Rose Blossom is a 100% Sri Lankan local owned and operated guesthouse, located in the tranquility of the Jungle, but just 200m away from Mirissa’s beautiful beaches & surf spots. We, Chanie & Lali, happily married for 25 years and living on these lands since our childhood, have been running the guesthouse since 2008. After a few years break due to a worldwide pandemic, we have recently renovated and reopened and are more than happy to host you in beautiful Sri Lanka. We will assist you with anything you need from Airport Pickups, TukTuk or Scooter Rentals to quality tips for restaurants, yoga classes or surf spots. We guarantee to help you finding the best activities and prices for your stay on Sri Lanka’s south coast. Despite the Guesthouse we are also running a much-loved Ayurvedic Spa, just across the street from a our guesthouse. Lali, a true massage master, and team will treat you with a variety of ayurvedic massages and treatments to easy your muscles and mind after long flights or heavy surf sessions. Whilst being located in the tranquility of the Jungle, the beautiful beaches of Mirissa with 3 different surf spots are just a few minutes walk away. From surfing Mirissa's mellow A-Frames over snorkeling with seaturtles to relaxed swims, stand up paddling or even Jet Ski rides the beaches offer tons of opportunities for you to explore. The beatiful beaches and surf spots of Weligama, Midigama, Ahangama and Madiha are within 15-30min riding distance by scooter or TukTuk. You will find a variety of restaurants close by: from fresh seafood over Sri Lankan classics like Currys, Kottu and Rotis to western classics like Pizza and Burgers. There are even a few fine Dining options available in Weligama & Madiha. If you ever feel like cooking for yourself there are plenty of markets and supermarkets around and you are welcome to use our brandnew outdoor kitchen. We also offer cooking classes and dinners for you to enjoy Chanies famous Sri Lankan food. For day trips to one of our famous nature reserves to see Tucans, Crocodiles, Elephants and when you're super lucky even Leopards or for whale watching tours on the ocean we are happy to help you out with recommendations.
