The Dutch Burgher Union of Ceylon (DBU) was founded in 1908 as a private community union for the Dutch Burgher community in then Ceylon. The original clubhouse was completed in 1912 and an extension built in 2022 to incorporate six modern guest rooms with all facilities, the coffee shop and restaurant.

Privileges include temporary membership and access to the private members bar and lounge for the duration of your stay. Enjoy Members F&B prices at a fraction of the cost of Hotel restaurants and bars. Ground floor includes the popular VOC Cafe and Coffee Shop which are open to Guests and the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
