Located in Haputale on the Pitaratmalie Estate, Thotalagala is a restored former planters bungalow featuring seven Suites, each named after a prominent personality that shaped the history of the Uva Province. Thotalagala has a restaurant, garden, bar, and free WiFi throughout the hotel. Thotalagala also features an infinity pool offering stunning views of the surrounding garden and mountains. All seven Suites consist of a bedroom, and private bathroom with a walk-in shower and tub. The luxurious bathrooms are fitted with a bidet, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Thotalagala offers an all-inclusive stay for all its guests, including many unique experiences from a visit to the iconic Lipton's seat to a guided tour of the Dambetanne Tea Factory. During their stay, guests will also be able to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails, a curated high tea overlooking the picturesque mountains and taste an exceptional Ala carte menu paired with a selection of international wines and spirits. Bandarawela is 14 km from Thotalagala, while Ella is 26 km from the property. The nearest airport is the Bandaranaike International Airport which is a 5-hour drive away.
