Bab Doukkala is a largely residential quarter offering a wonderful insight into authentic Marrakshi life without the wear-you-down hassle that's commonplace in the souqs. Just a few steps away from our Riad is the main street of the area, Rue Bab Doukkala, featuring a lively street market with all kinds of fresh food, as well as hammams and small cafes where locals linger to talk to their neighbours.
