The property is located within a beautiful 1800s building in the heart of Hamrun. The apartment consists of a large bedroom and living room, separate bathroom and separate kitchen and dining room. Within the property is a shared washroom with washing machine and dryer as well as a small garden where one may smoke should they wish. The property has been recently renovated by the host and has been decorated with his unique mix of vintage and eclectic styles.
Ħamrun is a traditional Maltese town which boomed in the mid-1800s though it had existed for centuries prior as a small hamlet. Ħamruniżi are fiercely proud of their town and history but the area has also evolved recently due to immigration, turning it into a melting pot of African and Asian restaurants and shops. Mercifully spared from the development boom of the 70s, most of the town-core streets are as they would have been a century ago. Valletta, the capital city, is a 30 minute walk or a five-minute bus ride away. The airport is 15 minutes away in a cab outside of rush hour (estimate 30-45 minutes during busier times).
