In one of the oldest streets of Birgu is this small house dating back over 500 years. It features a water well which was hand carved into the stone and also a very fun cave-like bedroom. Legend has it that this space was used as a chapel but in most recent years it has housed several poker-games for the villagers of Birgu. The area which was used as a chapel has a hand carved arch making this house a true masterpiece of the era of the knights of St.John - if only the walls could talk! The house features 2 bedrooms - one double room which is set in a very cosy cave like semi-basement, and a kids room with bunk beds. The space can also accommodate another 2 people on a very comfortable sofa-bed. A total of 6 guests can enjoy this incredible house. There is also a little kitchen for self catering and a shower which is designed like old Maltese tiles. A new Smart-TV is also available along-side high speed internet. An AC is available in the main Bedroom, while fans are available all around the house. There is a flight of stairs to access the main bedroom. The stairs are also closed by a gate for safety as it is quite steep.(See pictures).

The area is spot on in the centre of Birgu, one of the oldest cities in Malta. The area is full of restaurants and coffee shops for your entertainment. The marina is 5 minutes walk, and the ferry to valletta is less than 10 minutes walk.
