The location of the apartment is at the end of South Street which is 200mts from the City Gate entrance to Valletta and Republic Street. 50mts more and you will cross the bridge and be at the main bus station from where you go to any part of Malta. The immediate area is residential but on South Street you will find many small restaurants and wine bars. Close also is the famous Straight Street which Valletta’s entertainment centre. Walk over Republic Street and you will find Castille, and the Barrakka Gardens from where you can take an elevator to the Grand Harbour Waterfront. Departing from here are the Gozo Fast Ferries which will land you in Gozo in 40 minutes. This is also the location for the ferry to the Three Cities across the Harbour. There are also ferries from just below the apartment to the shopping and entertainment area of Sliema. Directly opposite the apartment is a free carpark which can be busy during business hours, but you will find parking in the afternoon and evening. The carpark leads on to Hastings Gardens which overlook the City Gate and Floriana. There are a variety of museums and historic sites close. A comfortable home in Valletta very centrally located
