Ashok looks after the garden and the pool and we have a pest control company who comes in every month or so.

There are two to three restaurants, local shops, bus stop at walking distance. It is 5-10 mins from the center of Grand-Baie and 900m from Mon Choisy public beach (3 mins by car). Ideal for a family or two couples. Shared swimming pool and garden. This two-bedroom apartment offers a comfortable and spacious environment for guests. Featuring two spacious air-conditioned bedrooms, a living area overlooking the kitchen and a private terrace, guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool with sun loungers and tropical garden. Toilets is separate from bathroom, and there is a dining table under the covered terrace and in the living room as well. Being in the residential area of Pointe aux canonniers, there are a few dogs in the neighbourhood, so you can expect some barking from time to time. It is 5-10mins by car from busy center Grand Baie. Renting a car is highly recommended for your stay. Public transportation (bus) in Mauritius is not reliable and also buses do not operate at night. Taxis can be expensive. Within walking distance, you will find a bakery, local supermarkets, a medical center, a bus-stop and restaurants. The beach of Mon Choisy is less than 5 mins by car or bus.

Pointe aux Canonniers is 5-10 mins from the center of touristy Grand-Baie. It is a residential area with 2-3 restaurant options within walking distance. It is also 3 mins from Mon Choisy beach and 10 from Trou aux Biches village. French bakery, restaurants, wine store, local supermarket are all within walking distance as well as a pharmacy, Medical Center (opened 24/7) and a fuel station. Being in a residential area, there are a few dogs in the neighbourhood, so you can expect some barking from time to time. The public beach of Mon Choisy (less than 5 mins by car or bus) is ideal for morning & afternoon walks & even jogging on the long stretch of beach, or for your children to play with the sandy beach. The lagoon is perfect for swimming and snorkelling & sports activities. Really recommended to go during the week if you wish to enjoy a less crowded beach. Sunsets are beautiful on the beach. Renting a car is highly recommended It is the perfect place for those wishing to be close to the center of Grand-Baie (5 minutes by car) but still wishing to enjoy a calm environment.
