During your stay: I am always available for my guests though we are a small team to help you out. They are : Laure and Nathalie who looks after the guest relations and will be greeting you. Anne and Yajna may also welcome guests occasionally. On site, Veena services the Villa and is there from 09ish to 2p.m. from Monday to Friday and until 12.00 on Saturdays. There is also have the pest control who comes in every month or so. The garden is serviced as well weekly.

This delightful villa boasts a spacious covered terrace overlooking a long tropical garden from where you can enjoy the spectacular views over the lagoon and the northern islands (Gunner’s Quoin & Flat Island). It also offers you the perfect place to spend a quiet evening while taking in the breathtaking sunsets, or to enjoy a delicious meal. With a lovely pool & barbecue to cook up a feast under the stars, this bungalow has everything that you need for a perfect beach holiday. For your children's safety, we have very recently installed a glass pool balustrade on the terrace for the pool access. It is frameless and doesn't block the view.

 In the living space you will find a comfortably sized TV lounge, an open breakfast/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a built-in oven, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. You will also have access to cable TV and high-speed internet. For sleeping, you will have 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, with the master bedroom featuring an en suite bathroom. There are also two additional bathrooms. Directly in front of the villa you have the lovely turquoise lagoon with a small natural “pool” protected by rocks, where parents can happily swim with their small children, as the water level is not too deep. There is also the larger, deeper lagoon to the right of the villa.

 Our wonderful helper Veena, who services the bungalow daily (except for Sundays and public holidays), will be happy to help you whenever and to cater to your needs. She would also be delighted to cook for you.

Renting a car is recommended so that you may visit the island or for daily needs like grocery shopping. The capital, Port-Louis, is a 45 minute drive from the bungalow (avoiding peak hours ). Grand Gaube is a typical Mauritian fishing village with the local vibe being very laid back. It is the perfect place for those wishing to be away from the touristy, but crowded village of Grand-Baie and being only 15-20 minutes by car from it. It has a vast lagoon ideal for kitesurfing aficionados and water-sports enthusiasts. I highly recommend walks along the beautiful stretch of beach in the morning or at sunset, as this is when the light is best to appreciate the scenery (and to capture those amazing photographs). There is a kite-surfing school (for beginners to more advanced) less than a minute walk away from the bungalow. Within walking distance, you will find 1 local store for basic groceries, a pharmacy, a bus-stop. Renting a car is recommended, especially so that you may visit the island. In Calodyne, 5 mins by car, you will find a supermarket, delicious French bakery, a wonderful pastry shop, a fruit & vegetables marker, pharmacy and a butcher's shop.
