Hi, we’re Coreen and Scott from Progreso Beach Rentals with 6 units available to rent in the Yucatan. We are Canadians who are working closely with our local team to ensure you have the most comfortable stay and a wonderful experience to remember. Our rental units include 2 large deluxe double level apartments in Chicxulub each sleeping 6 with rooftop plunge pools on your private rooftop patios, and 5 minutes from the beach. In addition, we offer a 4-plex 1 block from the Malecon and beach called Malecon Beach House, each at different sizes but all enjoying a thatched rooftop patio with amazing views and a courtyard garden with a shared pool and cement palapa with seating. We speak English, French and Spanish :) For security purposes and to prevent fraudulent credit card transactions, we will request that the guest upload a selfie picture holding a Government Photo-ID matching the name on the credit card used to make the reservation.

The large rooftop with a huge palapa shaded area and plenty of seating to enjoy the breeze and views of the beach and sea (or rather the Gulf of Mexico!) Have a sunset cocktail up here or just enjoy some food al fresco with your group! Electricity : for stays of 21 nights or more, there is a 10 USD weekly electricity fee. For Deluxe Apartment and Superior Apartment, there is a fixed electricity charge for this property of 20 USD per week. Please note that for stays of 30 nights or more, there is a mandatory mid-stay cleaning fee of 25 USD Please get in touch with the local contact at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival to coordinate the meet-up time for your check-in. There are no check-ins after 7 pm. Please note: - Apartment unit is a one-bedroom suite and an adjoining room with two single beds that can only fit two young children and not suitable for adults. There are no doors between the main bedroom and the adjoining room. Access to the pool requires climbing a narrow staircase of stairs. - To get to the Superior Studio unit, you must go up the flight of stairs, cross over the rooftop Palapa area (3rd floor), climb down a flight of stairs and walk past the pool to the studio. Please keep this in mind as it may not suitable for guests with low mobility or physical impediments. There are surveillance cameras at the property for security reasons and to ensure guest safety. All cameras face outdoor areas only.

The complex is just a block from the beach and Progreso’s famous Malecón! - Walk the Malecón waterfront promenade. It’s a 1.1km/.68 miles walk one way and it’s loaded with things to see and do. You’ll find a large selection of restaurants, enjoy a stroll along beachside, get a marquesita (a crunchy crepe-like roll filled with sweet or savory fillings) from the street vendor or dine with a beach view! - Walk the Progreso Pier at the west end of the Malecón. At an incredible 6.5 kilometers long (4 miles), it’s the world's longest pier and hosts cruise ships and cargo vessels. - Relax and enjoy the beach and beautiful ocean with warm shallow water. - Kayak or stand-up paddleboard through the mangroves - Visit Reserva Ecológica El Corchito where there are 3 crystal clear cenotes to enjoy (cenotes are freshwater sinkholes that are unique to this area) - Day trip! Go see pink flamingos at the salt flats in Celestún or an excursion to Chichén Itzá, one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World!
