Casa Cacahuate is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the island, in a very peaceful area but very close (5 minute walking distance) from the beach and “downtown”. You will have the entire house and the garden for yourself. The house is distributed in two floors: - Top floor: 1 bedroom with king size bed and private bathroom; spacious terrace with hammock and sunbeds. - Bottom floor: 1 bedroom with twin size beds or king size (upon request) and private bathroom. Also, living room/dining room area with equipped kitchen and sofa bed. - Garden area with lounge and hammocks. The living room has a sofa bed for one more person. The house has a lot of windows which keeps it naturally fresh, but it also has ceiling fans and air conditioning in every room. I hope you enjoy the Holbox charm, without hurry or stress, and being patient with the mosquitoes and island fauna. Keep in mind that we are in a natural protected area, and that means also living with the island’s wildlife, as well as inconveniences such as weak WiFi signal, spontaneous electricity cuts or flooded streets because of the rain (especially sept-dec). For some they’re inconveniencies, and for others a fun adventure!

I’ve been traveling and working around the world for 12 years and living in Holbox since 2016. I’m originally from Spain. I love scuba diving, kitesurfing, painting and being surrounded by nature. I enjoy meeting my guests and trying to make their stay perfect!

My house is a 7 minute walk away from the beach, as well as the “downtown” area. It’s a very quiet area where you won’t be disturbed by the noise of the center. We are very close to a restaurant called Crustáceo Kascarudo, very good and reasonably priced. A few meters away from the house there’s a small supermarket and a couple of blocks away we have the local fruit and vegetable market of the island, where there’s also some local food stalls and fresh juice stand (open in the mornings). I recommend exploring the island on a bicycle to enjoy the nature and the scenery! It’s also possible to rent golf carts. I live on the island and I will be available for anything you need!
