Our newly built guest house sits high overlooking Tofo village, with panoramic view taking in the ocean, the lagoon and sunset. A 15min walk from both Tofo and Tofinho beach, it offers a peaceful retreat nestled on the dune. Each of our four bedrooms are air conditioned and ensuite with spacious hot water showers. The open kitchen/living area features high end appliances, ample configurations of seating, and is filled with photographs of local marine wildlife. The bedrooms can be configured as a twin room or a kingsize double, all with big custom built mosquito nets that give the feeling they are not there. The house features beautiful exposed roof trusses giving an airy openness to the space, but closed up at night wont allow any bugs in. The whole house is protected by an automatic voltage regulator so you don't have to worry about your electronics when they're plugged in. Even though Tofo has a fantastic array of eating dens, our kitchen is fitted with a large double door fridge and a Smeg oven for keen cooks to cater for a big group.

My wife and I arrived in Tofo over 10yrs ago, both being involved in the scuba diving industry and marine research. We built our own cottage on the top of the dune where we stay most of the year, and built our two rental properties over the last two years, now we can share our incredible views over Tofo bay, with gorgeous suns setting over the uninterrupted palms to the west. We live on the property but each unit has its own private garden and space. Our property manager Fabiao will welcome you to the property and get you orientated to the area and assist you with any special requests. Anastasia is our amazing housekeeper and will make the bed and sweep the room out daily. Feliz is our gardener who keeps everything beautiful on the land, and Ernesto is our night guard. Our three cats may come and visit you for some attention on the veranda, and please feel free to feed any vegetable leftovers to our pigs Lady and Never, they are also one of the reasons our garden is so green.

Tofo has a fantastic array of eating dens from 'eat where you stand' street food to genuine Japanese cuisine. Everything in Tofo is easily walkable with nothing more than 20mins walk. We are lucky to have the bar/restaurants Turtle Cove and Mozambeats only a stones throw away, both have excellent menus and good vibes and swimming pools for lazy afternoons. Whilst all tourists' needs are catered for and the infrastructure has improved markedly over recent years, Tofo still provides an authentic African experience. This is a true slice of paradise.
