Come and stay in a quaint garden flat with fast WIFI and where you can enjoy your meal outside in a completely private garden area. We are situated off the main road in the suburb of Kramersdorf within walking distance to town centre. Guest will have their private flat and have as much privacy as desired. The garden will be shared with the main house but the flat has its own private garden nook.
We are long time Swakopmunders with a passion for nature and our coastal heritage. We love going birding and are qualified bird ringers. We worked in Conservation and tourism and have a lot of knowledge about Namibia, so we are happy to share any travel tips about our country. We also have an extensive library about Namibia at your perusal. We can also book for you lodges, cars for selfdrives and whole itineraries. Rod is an avid surfer, and if you are too, then he is happy to have you tag along on his early morning surfs on the weekends, or share tips on good surf spot along the coast.
Everything is pretty much walking distance. The closest shopping center is about a 10 minute walk. Town center is between 20 and 30 minute walk. You can walk down to the beach in less than half an hour, and if you prefer the dunes, that is only a 10 minute walk. With a car it takes you 5 minutes to the pier. We can always phone for taxis if you don’t feel like walking and don’t have a car. There are daily trips to Windhoek with stops on the way.
