Casa Única is a private property, situated in a mystical region of Nicaragua. As this natural paradise of the Laguna de Apoyo is shared with us, we share it with you. Our mission is to offer a private space where you can relax and resource your soul. As the entire shoreline of Nicaragua is public, the beach in front of the house is also public. We share it. The spaces we want to share with you are private, precious and fragile. Ideal time to remove your shoes and connect with Mother Earth, ideal time to let go of the pressure and enjoy the lake view under the soft shade. (Important) 1- We are not a hotel. 2- Please note that to hold your place we require you to share a pre-payment via ACH Local Bank Transfer maximum 24 hours after your reservation. The pre-payment should be for 50% of the total value of your stay. This way we will hold the reservation. In the case you cannot share the payment, please contact us before the end of the 24-hour window as this will be our deadline to cancel the reservation. We want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and unfortunately for a small private place like us hosting on Booking (this platform), in Nicaragua, the responsibility to collect payment comes to us. When this step is behind us, we promise to be the best host ever!! :) • We do not have restaurant service (please come prepared) • Breakfast is included, ask us for discount if you plan otherwise • A restaurant is open at walking distance until 7h pm • You can also order food with delivery fee from until 7h pm • Other restaurants are on the other side of the lake 40min walking (8 min by car) • There is no kitchen in Colibri room • If you stay in one of our cabin make sure to bring groceries at check-in as there is no market around (especially if you have no car) • Let us know for early check-in or late check-out. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. You can walk on the public beach or up the mountain for fun family time! You will easily reach the house with any type of vehicle. The last kilometer is a dirt road, driving slowly will get you here with no problem at all. You will park inside the property in a safe parking and you can then walk to the public beach, walk up the trails and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. (Important) If you do not have a car, please use taxi transportation to reach easily. The bus is not always available and drops you 30-40 minutes, even 1 hour walk from the house. Please ask about bus schedule and taxi before you arrive. Especially if you arrive late or after sunset. Be prepared, have a plan as we are far from civilization and services are not always available after dark. We take the opportunity to remind you that the beach in front is public and shared. The beach is usually busier only on weekends during March to end of April. Also note that outside our property, we cannot control activities and if the visitors in the surroundings make noise that could reach our home. Easter, New Year's Eve, and long weekends are the busiest days in Laguna de Apoyo.
